David’s true passion and focus is Player Development with Hitting. As an under-recruited high school athlete with limited instruction, David got to college realizing he was far behind in terms of his development as a hitter. This caused him to truly deep dive the swing, different hitting methods, and how his swing compared to the best in the world. Through this research, David was able to reconstruct his swing and saw his production go through the roof at college. From being an under-recruited high school player to a 4-time 1st Team All-Empire 8, a 3-Time All-Region player, and the Houghton College career leader in hits, walks, runs, on base percentage, stolen bases, total bases, and many others.

As his playing career ended, David discovered his passion of being the person he needed in his playing career. A person dedicated to the swing and having the knowledge to help athletes eliminate being a late bloomer. David strives to help hitters of any age understand themselves and what they need to be the most successful version of themselves. The past 2 years, David has worked with some of the best hitters in the country, from MLB to Little League and only hopes to reach more athletes in need of guidance.

At Zeal Hitting Development, David only strives to bring in athletes that have the passion and work ethic to chase after their potential and get the instruction, programs, and mentorship to be the best baseball player they can be.
